Tracked

I met one of the people who is an employee in one of the offices in the same office building where I used to work. He asked me where I am working now. Hmmm are you tracking me down? He laughed and said no just asking. I made that joke because one thing I remebered about him is when word spread out among the people there then that he almost lost his job because he was one of the drivers of the company vehicles who got caught when they went drinking somewhere during office hours and yet they were believed to be in an official business trip. But that was dismissed and they were forgiven because it did not reach the top management. He went on probation of sorts. Well if his company had this gps fleet tracking system that monitors vehicles and drivers and
track where they are at certain point of time then I guess he would be working somewhere else by now or worse no job at all. This gps is like having a virtual manager in every company vehicle so they would be trcked where ever they go. So any unofficial thing or trip they do would be found out and the possibility of losing their job is one grave consequence. So he told me he never did it again. He has a family and I have met his wife and so he needs to be honest or lose his job. No one wants tha, do you?
