Time flies and it is already the last day of April. Before we know it, summer is over then school starts then the BER months starts and here it marks the start of the Christmas season. While my son is watching the movie Mr. Bean Holiday for the nth time for the past few days, I am able to do some work as well as hubby but there are times when he gets bored and comes to us to distract us from what we are doing. (more…)
I am suddenly experiencing eye strain. My head aches a little and I cannot stay long looking at the screen monitorof my laptop. Maybe I have spent so much time on my laptop for the past few days since I have been doing some tasks online and also surfing aside from being addicted lately to Twitter. My two college friends who I have not seen together for a long time will be having a lunch date with me this weekend. It is sort of my late treat for these two girls who are among my closest friends. Well I am excited but worried at the same time coz I will probably be bringing with me my son since my youngest sis has not confirmed until now if she can come. My friend told me to bring my son along since these two friends of mine are also my son’s godmothers in his baptism and they want to see him too. (more…)
it’s one hot summer day today. While in other places up north it has been raining hard, down here it is hot and sunny. We have avoided going out because it was so hot outside and we just stayed indoors. The A/C has been turned on when my son is going to sleep but he still sweat sometimes. When we had a get together last night at my parents’ house to celebrate my belated birthday and my niece’s birthday yesterday, my sis-in-law noticed that I have grown as in gained weight since we last saw each other. I say there is food and could I resist it not to eat them. So last night, it was good thing that we had no pork to repsect my brother who was told not to eat pork. So to avoid temptation for him, we did not order pork. That was actually what we called earlier yesterday for them to order additional pork viand but we have to help my brother. We are going back home to my parent’s home but only to visit them and attend the family get together to celebrate my niece birthday and for my belated birthday which was a few days ago. We decided to celebrate it today coz if not we will be going home every week. So I just decided to celebrate it together with my niece since we - hubby, me and our son went to the beach on my birthday. It was our first time actually. (more…)
Where is Ginormica? We have bought seven of the eight Monsters vs Aliens of the McDonalds Happy Meal. But we chose to buy Ginormica last coz she is a girl character and my son is a boy obviously. But for the past week we have been looking for Ginormica which have run out of stock in all McDonalds that we have been to here in our place. (more…)
