Camping

Saturday, June 27, 2009

A friend o f mine loves camping and it would be great to go on one with a great and close friends to go with. I really want to try the adventure of going into camping. I have tried that long before duringmy scouting days in grade school but it would be different when it is with close friends. A friend of my friend has invited them to a rv camping this coming weekend and if only we are near them I would love to go.

I have read about this RV before and there is a group of RV owners in a community and they have a site I came across with where you can find the great RV campground with their Trailer Life Directory. You can look for their comprehensive listing information of more than 11,900 RV parks, campgrounds, service centers, RV dealers, and local tourist attractions that you and your friends can go to. Check out Good Sam Club, the largest RV owner’s community in the world. I would really love to try that kind of camping!

Farming

Farming… virtually is what I am busy the past week. It is just for fun and it is kind of addicting. I play Farm Town at Facebook since I browsed through those game applications there and has been hooked to it since some of my blogger friends are playing it too and are my neighbors there. It’s fun. And there are also other “farm” games I play lik Barn Buddy, Farmville, Happy Farm, and the latest Sunshine Ranch which I joined just recently. So do I still want to be a blogger or a farmer? LOL!

Looking Forward

Sunday, June 14, 2009

June is a month I look forward to because it is a month of birthdays in my family. Hubby was telling me given that there will be family celebrations and more opportunities to fill our tummies with an excuse that it is a family get together, he said we should control our diet too in between. We have curtailed our eating out and that gives us a little savings. But you cannot help resist sometimes when you really wanna binge. So hubby asked me if I have already browsed throught those diet pills reviewed which he saw me reading one time. Sybervision is said to be a source for the best diet pill, treatment for acne, creams for wrinkles, etc.Browse through that site if you wanna read and know more about the reviews.

Well I am actually looking forward to eating and not getting fat at all, oh I wish!

Early to Bed, Early to Rise

Hubby and I were early to bed as we put our son to sleep and we slept also early last night. But I was able to rise early too - around one in the wee hours of the morning. I checked on my laptop which I left on when we put our son to sleep. Hubby’s PC is still on right now and maybe I just have to put it off in awhile. So this is what I get when I go early to bed, I rise early to finish some tasks and also some house chores which I left last night.

Window Shopping

I was window shopping for a TV stand, when I saw these televisions all on sale off the original price at The Source by Circuit City. I was looking into the LCD HDTVs / TVs and plasma HDTVs of LG, Sony, Sony Bravia, Samsung, and Panasonic at special/discounted prices offered! Tempting to buy again! If we only have extra monney so that we can each have one and watch the TV program or movie each of us - me, hubby and my son - wants to watch. Though my son can use our old Samsung TV and hubby can use my Samsung LCD HDTV, I may have get a Panasonic plasma 50″ TV oh wishful thinking! Who knows, I may just have it soon!

A Manic Monday

Monday, June 8, 2009

If you joined the circus, what act would you most want to perform? >> Some magic tricks that are fun and good for the kids which they would love.

Would you generally be overdressed or underdressed at a party? >> Depends on what the party is for but maybe usually underdressed.

Do you feel that children should be sheltered from unhappiness? >> Yes I believe so. I always wants children especially my own son and my nephews and nieces to see the brighter side of life and the joys that life has so they’ll grow to have a positive look into their own lives. With my son, I always want him to be happy that even when I was preggy, I really had this happy disposition when I was told that what you are when you were pregnant, they will also be like that. So I was happy and smiling and my son seems to have gotten the attitude but then as he grows up, he takes on other people’s disposition too. But I really that children don’t have to suffer for the mistakes and unhappiness of the generation before them.

Fix the Lighting

Monday, June 1, 2009

I have not told hubby yet but he needs to fix the light in the bedroom. It is where I do my blogging and I need a good light even during the day coz there is not much natural or day light coming in this room the whole day. I was wishing for lighting fixtures to put near my desk so that if I work in the bedroom which is often, I’ll have enough light and I could avoid straining my eyes. Well you know eye strain equal pain not only in my eyes but in the head too. Hubby said I should put on the light when I’m working and blogging so therefore he should have the light fixed soon. I could see it flickering at times.

Hard Working

I try to be a hard working SAHM and it is also at the same time hard working with my two year old son sitting in my lap watching the movie in TV in the living room while we are here in front of my laptop in the bedroom as I try to do some work which needs to be done soon. My son must have gotten scared with the monsters in Monsters Inc which he has been watching for the nth time for the past three days I think. Oh my how can I concentrate on my work while he wiggles and often block my view at the same time pulling at my right hand which I use in holding the mouse. So who says being a SAHM and working is easy?
