Excited

Monday, November 30, 2009

I’m excited! Who won’t be excited for a family vacation trip? And now hopefully if things will work out we might be able to bring my sis to assist us with the lil boy during our trip in less than two months time. We might need an additional and new luggage so I went looking for one online and browsed through various choices inclucing Samsonite and Eagle Creek luggage which has an offer of 35% off. I will also have to check on our old luggage if it would still be used for this coming trip.  The older and smaller luggage has a wheel that was damaged at the CEB cargo. If it was far too damaged then we might get a new one for the lil boy’s clothes which we usually pack separate from our stuff.

Last Day

Today is the last day of November and I know some if not a lot of you are excited for December. Tomorrow is the first day of December and we cannot deny that Christmas is so near. Some of you have already done their Christmas shopping while some still hasn’t. We did a little Christmas shopping yesterday at the 2009 Christmas Bazaar at the Davao Convention  and Trade Center. We were able to buy mostly food - pastries, a toy for the lil boy, three Christmas balls made of capiz shells for decors, two queen size Mickey Mouse flannel blankets for the little boy and our use as well.

Today also is a holiday here - Bonifacio Day and it is also the last day of the Christmas Bazaar. So if you wanna catch up you still have until 9PM to shop at Davcon. Enjoy the last day of November and the last day foa long weekend here.

Then tomorrow will be Hello December!!! Merry Christmas!!! :)

Wednesday, November 25, 2009

I suddenly rememberi still have a litle stuff left in my parents’ house. Myo ld school books and some other stuff. I remembered them when Ifound this site where you can sell back your books or sell textbooks online. if you have used books that you do not need anymore and are just kept somewhere in the house collecting dust. You might as well sell them back to get back at least a part of what you spent for them or for more charitable purposes give those books to charity. But if you need some charity yourself, then you have your old, used books sold online at www.sellbackyourbook.com.

Black Friday Shopping

Friends online are busy making their shopping list for Black Friday deals. I have opted to stay away from the shopping frenzy since I promised hubby we will be saving much of our blessings for our H#2 project. It’s really tempting to shop online with deals here and there.  And I have found some very tempting items as I did some online window shopping myself. But I guess I just have to stick to our plan. I already did shop for what I had been looking for earlier and a few days ago after we watched New Moon, I was able to do some impromptu shopping for a few new clothes which I am happy and content with. That’ll do for me now. More to save and save more.

Shopping List

I was browsing through some online stores and my friend chatted with me while she was waiting for her hubby to come home. Our chat went to a topic regarding her shopping list for the Black Friday deals after Thanksgiving and she said there is nothing fancy for her in the list all practical home stuff including spa filter which she said is long to must have been replaced. I helped her find where to shop for that item on her list and we found it at YourFilters which carries (more…)
