Healthcare Jobs

Tuesday, December 29, 2009

Before I hit the sack I am doing a little searching for jobs in healthcare for my friend, an old classmate of mine who successfully passed the board exam this year. It is actually her second course and she is pursuing her family’s dream and hope that she will be able to fulfill the dream her mom once had.

I told her about this updated database that i found of healthcare job postings, post your resume, and connect with top employers in the healthcare and medical industry. I am sure it will be very helpful for hersearch for a job in her chosen field.

Day Off

Still has not been granted any day off for almost two years so I guess next year I really have to get that. I deserve that because even if I am sick I am still at work and have to work and be up. I never have time to really get well and even if I ask for it, it does not mean anything to the boss who seems indifferent. If there is anyone who feels indifferent out there like the boss then maybe that the way things really are.

Better Safe Than Sorry

Tuesday, December 22, 2009

Our neighbor almost learned it the hard way that he should wear one of those safety products like a hard hat worn by those construction workers when he went to visit a building being constructed at the end of our street. A hammer fell off from above and it just missed his unprotected head. It did hit him a little in his right upper arm. Good thing he was just slightly harmed from this incident. Who told me this? One of our neighbors kids who I met outside just awhile ago told me he saw this happen about an hour ago. (more…)

Two To Go

Two more dawn masses or misa de gallo to go and we will be able to complete the nine days of misa de gallo. I am proud of the lil boy who is cooperative to wake up at dawn to go with us to church. I wonder what his wish is. My wish? Not materialistic but realistic! There are far more important things than material things though I had my wishes for some things nice to have. But health is always a good wealth to have aplenty!

Have a merry and healthy Christmas everyone!!!

Online Degree

Sunday, December 20, 2009

There are always chances and opportunities to learn as long as we live. A teacher of mine before told us her students to constantly strive to learn new things. But for those who are working or for those who want to pursue another degree but has not much time physically to go to  regular graduate or business school, there is a fully accredited online university offering online bachelor’s and master’s degree programs like Western Governors University (WGU).  WGU is a fully accredited online education institution offering online degree especially for working professionals who find this kind of learning more convenient for them.

They have online business degree  that is good for those professionals who would like to pursue a business degree for work for reasons of promotion and advancement in their careers perhaps.  WGU is a non-profit and more affordable than other online universities so its affordable. Therefore speeds up the time you need to complete your degree online. With them you can pursue your dream and ambition at your own convenience, right at home.
