Better Safe Than Sorry

Tuesday, December 22, 2009

Our neighbor almost learned it the hard way that he should wear one of those safety products like a hard hat worn by those construction workers when he went to visit a building being constructed at the end of our street. A hammer fell off from above and it just missed his unprotected head. It did hit him a little in his right upper arm. Good thing he was just slightly harmed from this incident. Who told me this? One of our neighbors kids who I met outside just awhile ago told me he saw this happen about an hour ago.

So if you do come near anywhere a construction site, whether it be big or small, be sure you are protected. There are many occupational safety products and safety supplies like hard hats, and even safety glasses, work gloves, safety vests and protective clothing that you should have when you go near such a place. It is always better safe than sorry you know.

that was close.. it is better to take safety measures at all times, especially if you are exposed to a not-so-safe environment…

happy holidays to you!
