Getting Sleepy
Monday, May 3, 2010It’s a slow Monday and it’s a holiday! I can’t help it but I am really getting sleepy since I woke up earlier than I planned to. It’s nice to go back to bed on a lazy monday morning and with the neighbor’s soft, slow music which I can hear from here makes me wanna enjoy the so-called long weekend lazing and lying in bed as soft as those Coast to Coast mattresses that look so comfortable and inviting. They carry the said to be most trusted brands in sleep from coast to coast.
I’m gonna check out their exclusive Mattress Advisor section later on where we can get to compare different comforts (firm, plush, cushion firm, pillowtop, eurotop, memory foam and more!), even compare brands and prices so we can find the perfect mattress for our bedding needs. They do have the top brands plus all of their models such as memory foam, visco & latex, as well as all sizes namely: twin, full, queen, king and even twin XL and California king somehow making this such a wide selection for us to choose from. I actually wanted to buy a new one for the lil boy’s room and the ultra plush mattress I saw is such a temptation. Just waiting for the budget approval that is.
No Class Today
I have to remind myself when I woke up that there is no class today for the lil boy and would you know I am happy and relieved. I love going to the lil boy’s school yet since it became a daily routine for us for a few weeks now, I wanted to have a break. If only hubby has a later duty shift today but then he came home to just sleep for awhile and is off to work again.
There is no work also today for most employees since it was declared a holiday to commemorate Labor Day which was last Saturday to the nearest Monday which happens to be to be today. So it’s a non-working holiday here now.
Window Shopping
When I got better last night, I took a quick break and went out to buy the Sunday newspapers, food for dinner and french fries for the lil boy. While waiting for the food, I went out to check on the home furniture store just a few meters away from the resto and took a quick window shopping. I was actually looking for a small kiddie table for the lil one similar to the one they use in school. I found none there.I’d look somewhere else next time.
Instead I found an interesting stone sink similar to this one in the photo that indeed does make a powerful statement. I still find it unique and interesting. They are often made out of natural stone like granite, marble, travertine and onyx. They are unique pieces of art that are hand crafted out of the finest natural stone which nature can offer. It is nice to have this interesting piece in the kitchen or bathroom perhaps in your home.
I have seen a few sinks like this in local restos so far. A nearby resto has this in their wash area. My son would seem to be fascinated by it since the faucet they use is like that one you can find in a water pump in the province. He would often come back to it to wash as often as he can get us to go with him there.
Precious Investment
Saturday, May 1, 2010Over time I have learned that it is not just enough for one to save. It is would be much better if you could also make a good investment out of that hard earned money that one saves over time. have you considered to buy gold bullion? Investing in gold is a unique and precious investment since not many investors do this. But come to think of it, it becomes more valuable over time and more safer to invest in compared to any other investment in paper currency. It is a good way of protecting your moneyin an investment protected from inflation. Try checking out USGB where you will learn more on this kind of precious investment.
