Coins

Monday, December 26, 2011

It’s Christmas time and it had been a tradition in our family to have a coin shower during our Christmas and New Year family gatherings. This year had been different because we started celebrating special family occasions not at home but at chosen venue outside our home. We cannot have the coin shower anymore but more of just equally distributing them with less riot from the kids.

So I still found time to find my collection of coins yesterday despite being so busy so I can give them to my nephews and nieces. In the process, I found a few special coins similar to those personalized coins I came across the other day. At the same time, hubby also gave me two coins that he found in his pants pocket a few days ago. Those coins were just for the animal ride at the mall that we bought weeks ago. He just found it then much to the delight of the little boy who wanted to immediately go to the mall upon seeing the coins.

Speaking of coins, I am to start anew with collection new coins by the start of the coming year and that’s just a few more days away. This time I will be collecting coins for the coin shower for the little boy’s birthday.

British Coast Calendar 2012

I got British Coast Calendar 2012 from my dear sister as part of her Christmas or more of a New Year’s gift for me and my boys. I found myself staring at the photo in the front cover of the calendar. It made me wish just in my thoughts that one day I could go where my sister lives with her family. We missed them this Christmas like we missed them when we had our simple family gathering yesterday fro Christmas day.

The calendar made me think how time flies and it will be two Christmases already since when we last  saw them when they went here for a family vacation. I hope in Christmas 2012,they would be spending their Christmas here at home.We could get a car hire and go around the city and other new tourist spots that you had wanted to go before.

Thanks sis for the calendar! I have been using all the calendars that you gave us. See you soon I wish!

Make Cleaning Easy

Saturday, December 17, 2011

Most kids are already on their Christmas holiday vacation break. Could you imagine moms with no help at home worrying on how they can make cleaning easy with their kids around? It can get crazy because the holidays are busy days for family gatherings that may be held at your home and you should have the house prepared clean for the occasion. But with children playing and running around, how can you finish the cleaning chore in no time? You could just wish you are attending to other preparations for the clan Christmas party rather than spend so much time cleaning the house. You could spend twice as much energy cleaning I bet.

Good news for moms with no help at home is that there is an option to make cleaning easy if you are in this kind of situation when you avail of the services of the Maid Service Rockville MD. You can get a free instant online quote of the services and rates they offer. They have been in this kind of business since 1991 serving clients whom they have provided with reliable house cleaning and maid service in Rockville, Maryland. Their services also allow them to maintain your home’s basic regular cleaning needs aside from detailing areas of your home each time they do their cleaning services.

How I really wish I have them in our area! I could really use their help and service right now with only a few days left before Christmas. I am busy and is still busy to even attend to all house chores while my dear hubby has been on overtime work for the past few days leaving me not much time during the day to clean with a little boy with me who can get the house messy by himself in no time.

Balloons

Thursday, December 15, 2011

The little guy wanted balloons. He told me when we came home from school that he wanted balloons. I don’t know what gave him an idea that he suddenly wanted a few balloons. I remember though when we went to SM a few days ago, we passed by the store that sells them but he did not ask for any then.

Maybe a classmate of someone in school may have mentioned it. Well since we did not go to the mall after school, well I just showed this to him and he whispered to me, “Mom let’s buy balloon tomorrow!” I just replied, “Okay!” He stopped the balloon talk then.

Talk on Maintenance

Today the men in the neighborhood seem to have this common topic and concern on maintenance of their jeepneys and vehicles. It may be that time of the year when it is about time to have a check on maintenance of their respective vehicles.

When I went out I today with the little boy to send him to school, I saw four men standing outside by the neighbors’ car talking about jeep parts and accessories while we waited for dear hubby to come out and for our ride to to school to arrive.

Earlier this morning, I also heard our other neighbor talking to his jeepney driver about buying and replacing some parts of the jeep. It’s like as if it is that time when the year is about to end that people go through this talk on repairs and maintenance.
