Good for the Heart
Tuesday, February 14, 2012
Oats are said to be good for the heart. Since it is Heart’s Day today, I am making more conscious effort in taking good care of my heart as in literally! A few days ago, when we were at Robinson’s Supermarket, I passed by this and saw the new packaging and flavors. I tried a small pack (40g) of this Instant Oatmeal in Banana and Honey Flavor. I instantly liked it. I grew up with Cerelac and anything like this flavor, reminds me of those days. A few days after I tried this, I bought a bigger pack which is the one above.
I am slowly making a change in my diet lately. Not that easy since there are “lapses” every now and then but if I keep up with this better choices I’m making, hopefully it will help improve my health and make me lose weight a lot faster. I’ll take anything now that is good for the heart.
They Will Keep Your Books
Monday, February 13, 2012Running a business ain’t an easy feat. There are many daily transactions involved. Businesses today and decades ago whether they be big or small in size do run their everyday business with one of their goals to sell their products, earn and make profit. But there is a question at one point on how do these businesses keep track of the money that comes in and out through the daily business transactions? (more…)
Yellow Cab Pizza Menu
Sunday, February 5, 2012
Sometimes when I look at this Yellow Cab Pizza Menu I just wish I can order them all.
Often though I end of just deciding on our fave New York’s Finest pizza, which is their best seller or the Hawaiian flavor which is among the cheapest.
But we cannot order them all at one time. Might just try one item at a time. I’d like to try the Dear Darla Pizza next time. I have been curious about this upon reading about it being a favorite of a local celebrity.
Sunday Movie Marathon
It’s a quite Sunday evening for us here. I am quite bored and just want to relax and the thought of having a movie marathon crossed my mind. I remember about that discount dvd that my friend Trish wastelling me about the other night when I asked what movies she could recommend to me.
I have been wanting to watch some movies I have missed watching at the cinema. I will have to ask hubby toscout for their DVDs. We could do another movie marathon when he is off duty from work. While for now, the movies Letters to Juliet, Julie and Julia and one animated movie with the little boy’s choice would be lined up tonight for our Sunday movie marathon.
Ni Hao Ma
“Ni Hao Ma?”
It means how are you?
The little boy said that to me out of the blue while he was at the same time still playing and learning at the starfall.com in his daddy’s computer. I was surprised at first and was surprised that he spoke in Chinese. Then I remembered he was browsing through that app that hubby installed on the Samsung Galaxy Tab the “Learning Chinese”app for Android.
I had quickly browsed through that app and found a few useful Chinese phrases that the little boy or anyone can learn. This may be helpful if and when the plan to enrol him in the two big school options that we are choosing from to transfer him next school year. At least he seems really interested and learn it quite easily on his own. I just hope he has a stronger retention this time.
